my son is 4 years too. About the ads that say 8 years and older, but my son likes jammin my SP-555 so im sure he can have fun with this machine. Activators I say the sooner they started the better, right?
in my little sampler Jimi already know that the use of the button hold, changing seats, control of volume and little things like that. He also wants to learn to scrath and he loves to hit.
I actually helped produce a song at a time
let him play with some drum sounds that I recorded them.
-I found a half a decent loop then looped drums.
-So I let him play some one-shots or synths
Loop-then some of these
Then we have a beat and freestyle play on it and I record everything
he started accidentally deleted or I would have posted it. but im sure we will do some more.
